Part-Time Jewelry CAD Designer – MatrixGold Expert with 5+ Years Bench Experience (100% Remote / Home-Based in Philippines)
Job Description:
U.S.-based fine jewelry company looking for a highly skilled Jewelry CAD Designer who truly understands real-world manufacturing. This is a part-time, long-term role for only 10 hours per week (flexible scheduling, but with good overlap on U.S. Eastern Time when needed).
You MUST have:
• Minimum 5 years actual bench jeweler experience (hand-fabricating, soldering, setting stones, casting, finishing — this is non-negotiable)
• Expert level in Gemvision MatrixGold (and strong Rhino)
• Ability to create models that are 100% manufacturable — you instantly know what will cast cleanly, set properly, and finish beautifully
• Strong portfolio with photos of real finished physical jewelry you have personally made (not just renders)
Nice to have:
• Experience with ZBrush, CounterSketch, or 3Design
• Familiarity with U.S./European casting houses and growing/printing workflows
Position details:
• Part-time: exactly 10 hours per week (ongoing, long-term)
• 100% remote — work from home anywhere in the Philippines
• Compensation: ?25,000 – ?35,000 per month (paid in USD equivalent ? $420 – $590/month, negotiable based on experience and portfolio)
• Paid via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer
• Possibility to increase hours later if it’s a great fit
If you spent 5+ years at the bench making jewelry by hand and then became a MatrixGold expert, this easy part-time role is perfect for you.
To apply, send
1. Your CV
2. Portfolio / Google Drive link (must include photos of actual finished jewelry you made by hand + recent MatrixGold files/renders)
3. Quick note: years of bench experience + types of jewelry you fabricated by hand + your expected monthly rate for 10 hrs/week
We will only reply to applicants who clearly meet the 5+ years hands-on bench requirement. CAD-only designers (no real bench background) — please do not apply.
Looking forward to finding our new part-time tea
