We are a Commercial Furniture Dealer and Design Firm startup with a small team seeking a reliable, part-time IT Support Specialist to help keep our technology systems secure, organized, and running smoothly.

This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys supporting small businesses of less than 10 employees and serving as a trusted technology resource. You will help manage our day-to-day IT needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices to improve security and efficiency.

Responsibilities
• Set up and manage company email accounts and user access
• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts
• Troubleshoot computer, printer, and network issues
• Assist with laptop and device setup for employees
• Monitor and resolve malware, virus, and security concerns
• Implement cybersecurity best practices, including password management and multi-factor authentication
• Manage user permissions and access controls
• Assist with cloud storage and file organization
• Support software installations and updates
• Maintain backups and basic disaster recovery procedures
• Provide remote technical support as needed
• Recommend technology improvements and cost-effective solutions

Qualifications
• 3+ years of IT support or help desk experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365
• Experience with Google Workspace is a plus
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with antivirus, malware protection, and endpoint security
• Familiarity with remote support tools
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Experience supporting U.S.-based small businesses is preferred

Nice to Have
• Experience with cloud platforms and file sharing systems
• Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with network setup and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and policies
• Basic knowledge of business software integrations

Position Details
