Part-Time AI-Powered IT Specialist (Linux Admin)

We are seeking a Part-Time AI-Powered IT Automation Specialist who uses AI tools intensively to work faster, automate reliably, and improve a diverse IT infrastructure. This is a flexible, remote, hourly role for someone with strong IT fundamentals who treats AI as an efficiency multiplier.

## What You’ll Do
You'll use AI to work more efficiently in the day to day tasks and mainly do:
- Administer and optimize Linux systems across common distributions.
- Build automation for provisioning, config management, deployments, and ops tasks.
- Manage web servers/reverse proxies and TLS/SSL.
- Work with containers (Docker) and modern deployment workflows.
- Implement security best practices (access control, hardening, secrets, encryption).
- Set up monitoring/logging/alerting and troubleshoot complex infra issues.
- Maintain clear documentation and collaborate with the team/clients.

## What We’re Looking For
- Proven Linux/infra/sysadmin experience with strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong scripting (Bash/Python) and experience with Ansible/Terraform (or similar).
- Solid networking knowledge (DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls).
- AI-native workflow: you use LLM tools daily and verify outputs carefully (testing, reviewing, and validating changes before rollout) - very important.
- Have experience or strong willingness to learn how to optimize working with the AI with testing infrastructure and co.
