Paid Legal Internship (1 Year Commitment)

Esquire Society is a non-profit legal startup and education technology company that provides personal and professional resources to lawyers building personal brands, operating global firms, running virtual law firms, and providing other alternative legal/consulting services.

We are hiring a legal intern whose role will include research, drafting templates, reviewing contracts, corresponding with clients, supporting the business development and marketing team, as well as helping handle daily operation of the organization.

We are headquartered in the United States (Chicago), but work with clients all over the world and serve attorneys in across nearly every major practice industry. Accordingly, we are looking to hire a very intelligent, agile thinker, problem solver, self-starting, hard working person with technical and tactical skills.

We are looking to hire someone who has experience or demonstrated interest in the legal industry, is well versed in U.S. law, regulations, or international law and regulatory. The ideal candidate will have experience studying or working in any one (or more of the following): international business, corporate/business law, transactional law, sports law, tax law, complex litigation, litigation finance, legal technology, knowledge management, data analytics, healthcare, employment and labor law, education law, antitrust, copyright and trademark, patent law, non-profits and startup law, media and entertainment.

This is a year-long paid internship, requiring 20-30 hrs/week, compensated at a flat rate of $250/month. The ideal candidate is someone interested in joining the team as a full-time paralegal upon completion of the one year training program.
