Fightlab is a Muay Thai & combat sports lifestyle brand based in Phuket, Thailand. Our gear is worn by fighters, gyms, and athletes worldwide.

We support fighters, partner with gyms, and promote authentic fight culture across the global combat sports community.

As we grow internationally, we are looking for a proactive outreach assistant to help expand Fightlab’s visibility and relationships within the fight world.

???? The Role

This role focuses on increasing Fightlab’s visibility, credibility, and relationships within the global fight community.

You will engage with gyms, fighters, and media while helping promote sponsored athletes, product launches, and brand developments.

This is NOT a corporate PR role. Authentic communication and relationship-building are essential.

???? Key Responsibilities
Instagram & Community Engagement

• Monitor tags, mentions, and relevant hashtags
• Respond to messages and comments professionally
• Engage with gyms, fighters, and fight communities
• Request permission to repost user content
• Build authentic relationships through daily interaction

Gym & Community Outreach

• Connect with Muay Thai gyms and fight teams worldwide
• Build relationships with gym owners and coaches
• Support partnership introductions
• Identify collaboration opportunities

???? Media Outreach & Coverage (HIGH PRIORITY)

• Contact reputable fight media, blogs, and community platforms
• Secure coverage for sponsored fighters and fight appearances
• Promote new athlete signings (e.g., Otis Waghorn)
• Share news about product launches and brand developments
• Promote store openings and brand expansion news
• Maintain and grow a list of relevant media contacts

Sponsored Fighter & Brand Exposure

• Support promotion of sponsored fighters
• Assist with exposure around fights and events
• Share coverage opportunities with media outlets

Content & Social Proof Collection

• Collect testimonials from fighters and customers
• Save user-generated content for marketing use
• OrganiSe content into a shared library

? Requirements
Must Have

• Excellent written English
• Friendly, natural communication style
• Social media confidence (especially Instagram)
• Strong organisation and reliability
• Ability to work independently

Strong Advantage

• Interest in combat sports or fitness culture
• Experience with media outreach or PR
• Outreach or community management experience
• Familiarity with WhatsApp & Messenger communication
