Daily work available - $10 per PHP Game Module for PBBG Game Development
I need a daily PHP/MySQL developer who thrives on consistent, high-volume backend development for a persistent browser-based strategy game (PBBG). Monday through Friday work is available, paid weekly at a fixed rate of $10 per completed game module or feature.
You must write clean, procedural or object-oriented PHP code, optimize MySQL queries (PDO), and manage database structures via phpMyAdmin. These are not bloated CMS modules or massive framework setups; they are lean, efficient, core game mechanics designed for performance and speed for a specific browser based video game. Socket based web technologies for community building and online game chat also required.
"Vibe coding" and utilizing AI acceleration tools (like Copilot, Cursor AI or local LLMs) are absolutely welcome, provided you understand the code deeply and ensure it meets our strict security benchmarks.
This is DAILY work with DAILY output expectations. If you want stable income writing game logic and building features every single day, keep reading.
Job Requirements:
• Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Live Collaboration: Have a video camera / webcam so that we can occasionally virtually meet for code reviews, database architecture guidance, and to answer any of your questions to provide you support so you succeed.
• Technical Stack: Deep, hands-on experience with PHP, MySQL (PDO), and phpMyAdmin in a classic LAMP environment. You must know how to write efficient raw queries and manage relational databases without heavy ORM overhead.
• Security Focus: Mastery of cybersecurity fundamentals and anti-cheat coding mechanisms (preventing SQL injection, XSS, request tampering, automation/botting mitigation, and validation of game state on the server side).
• Turnaround Time: 3-day turnaround time per assigned daily task game module.
• Workflow: Multiple functional specifications and database tasks to complete
• Intellectual Property: Completed code, scripts, and database assets are the sole ownership of the employer.
• Verification: While AI tools are welcome to speed up your workflow, blind copy-pasting is not. You must be able to explain every line of your code during reviews.
• Game Logic Awareness: The code must minimize server load and database bloat. Thus, if you do not understand how to optimize queries for a high-traffic, persistent multiplayer environment, this job is probably not for you.
WHAT DAILY WORK LOOKS LIKE:
• Morning: Check the project dashboard/Google folder which contains the daily features database specifications, and security guidelines, then select your tasks.
• Throughout day: Write code, build backend mechanics (e.g., event tickers, economy loops, action validation), and structure MySQL tables.
• By 9 PM Manila time: All completed scripts pushed to the designated repository/folder and database structures updated.
• Next morning: Repeat.
Weekend work is negotiable, not required.
APPLICATION STEPS (FOLLOW EXACTLY):
1. SUBJECT LINE: COMMITTED LAMP PBBG DEVELOPER
2. FIRST LINE: One sentence describing your expected Mon-Friday schedule.
3. Questions to answer with your application (answer each with 1-3 sentences):
o a) How long have you been developing backend applications in PHP and MySQL?
o b) Provide a web URL of your GitHub profile or a live portfolio of your web development work.
o c) If internet/power goes out during the day, what's your backup plan?
o d) If given a list of complex game mechanics (e.g., a multi-tier skill tree or a sabotage mission matrix) to script within 24 hours, what is your methodology to have the work completed securely?
o e) What are your weakest skills in PHP/MySQL backend architecture?
o f) Do you have any experience playing or developing persistent browser-based games (PBBGs) or text-based strategy games?
o g) If you disagree with a database structure or SOP direction but I tell you to do it anyway, what do you do?
o h) Why are you reducing/leaving current work?
Successful candidates will get a $15 paid trial of 1-1.5 hours of work demonstrating programming logic, security awareness, and turnaround times by producing a clean, functional script from a given specification.
AFTER TRIAL:
• Pass the trial? A 2-week paid probation starts immediately.
• During probation: Either side can end the arrangement with 24 hours notice.
• After probation: 48 hours notice required from either side.
Final hiring decision within 1 week of posting.
I'm not looking for the most expensive enterprise framework architect in the Philippines. I'm looking for a smart, sharp LAMP developer who understands game security, shows up every day, follows the standard operating procedure exactly, and will still be writing great code with me 12 months from now.
If that's you, apply carefully.
