PHP Wordpress and Laravel Developer

Job Description:
We are a fast-growing digital agency based in the UK, looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with strong PHP skills and experience in Laravel. This is a full-time remote position for someone who is proactive, reliable, and follows instructions carefully.

As our WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining websites and web applications, ensuring high-quality output that meets client requirements.

You'll be responding to tickets, so must have great written English. If you have great spoken English then you'll also be considered for project work.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using PHP
Work with Laravel on custom projects and web applications
Implement clean, efficient, and scalable code
Debug, test, and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices
Collaborate with our project managers and design team to deliver on time
Follow detailed briefs and instructions precisely to avoid rework and delays

Qualifications:
Solid experience with WordPress (themes, plugins, custom post types, hooks, etc.)
Strong proficiency in PHP (essential)
Experience in Laravel framework
Knowledge of MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
Familiarity with Git version control
Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions thoroughly
Good communication skills and reliable internet connection
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Remote work (Philippines-based applicants only)
Working hours: UK timezone overlap preferred (flexible for the right candidate)
