Job description:

We are seeking a full-stack web developer with considerable experience across the whole LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stack and Laravel 9.x Framework. The successful applicant will enjoy being part of a market leading full-service agency working on a range of high-profile clients and projects.

- Implement PHP v7.x and v8.x solutions using the Laravel (9.x and higher) Framework.
- Utilize MySQL and SQL scripting for database management.
- Really understand and able to demonstrate experience of Laravel Ecosystem.
- Understanding and knowledge of unit tests and functional tests (PHPunit / Test Driven Development TDD)
- Manage version control systems (Git) including cherry-picking, branching, merging, rebasing, and tagging.
- Gather research to help contribute technical design, UI and preparation of project scope
- Work collaboratively with a team of other developers and UI designers
- Maintain existing builds while working on new projects
- Maintain good documentation, communication, analytical, and resolution skills.
- Mentor junior developers and introduce new technologies to the team from time to time

Skills & experience required:
At least 4 years of commercial working experience with PHP frameworks, Laravel preferred. Experience in Wordpress will be an advantage.

- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript (ES6), jQuery and Ajax
- Experience with at least one of the javascript libraries like Vue.js, React.js or Angular.js
- Good experience with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB
- Strong CMS knowledge such as Wordpress, Umbraco and Drupal
- Knowledge of headless CMS and Jamstack
- Experience with API integration and development
- Understand and experienced in the Cloud based Development and Application deployment.
- Extensive experience with optimising sites and follow coding best practices
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- Attention to details and ability to think out of the box
- Time management skills and ability to meet the deadline
- Great communication skills with different stakeholders
- A ‘can-do’ attitude with strong focus, maturity, and intensity to manage priorities and projects effectively.
- Ability to work independently or as a team

- Some knowledge of AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Cloud Front
- Some knowledge of Azure infrastructure
- Good excel knowledge and able to work with large amount of data
- Experiences with other tech stack such Upgrade to see actual info or Python
- CRM/EDM experience like Mailchimp and Klaviyo
- Photoshop knowledge to slice designs
- Experience with a variety of CMS’s
- TypeScript

- Web Animations with GSAP
