JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Virtual Paralegal and Case Manager to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, possess excellent customer service skills, and have the ability to handle a variety of legal and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. This role requires a self-starter with experience in drafting legal documents and communicating effectively in a legal setting.We love to help people learn and grow. But we don’t have the time for that right now. We need a
paralegal with experience, preferably in family law , probate litigation and veterans disability claims. The ideal candidate will be
able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand holding.
This is a full-time job where you are expected to manage a caseload, so you absolutely must be able to
work 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Document Preparation:

Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and agreements.
Prepare discovery requests and responses, and manage document production.
Assist attorneys with case preparation and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case files.

Case Management:

Manage case files from inception to closure, ensuring all documents are properly filed and deadlines are met.
Maintain and update the firm’s case management system.
Monitor case progress and provide regular updates to clients and attorneys.
Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed.

Client Interaction:

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on case status.

Administrative Support:

Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing legal documents electronically.
Handle mail and courier deliveries virtually.

Customer Service:

Provide clients with information about the firm’s services and processes.
Ensure clients feel valued and supported throughout their interaction with the firm.

Qualifications:


Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new software.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
