A design-led consumer brand based in Vancouver, Canada is hiring an Operations Manager to lead the operational backbone of the business across ecommerce, fulfillment, factory coordination, systems, and wholesale operations.
This is a startup environment: fast-moving, dynamic, and hands-on. There’s no playbook. The systems and processes you build now will become the foundation the business scales on. This is a senior role with real ownership and a clear growth path as the company expands.
What you’ll own
End-to-end order management across Shopify, Amazon, and wholesale channels
3PL relationships with US and Canada-based fulfillment partners, including inbound receipts, fulfillment SLAs, EDI flows, and monthly reconciliation
Factory coordination with overseas manufacturing partners on production, QC testing, sample requests, and shipment timing
System hygiene across Shopify, inventory, SKU data, and middleware as additional EDI partners are added
Weekly and monthly reporting to founders on inventory position, sales by channel, fulfillment performance, and returns
Retailer onboarding paperwork and operational setup as wholesale and retail partnerships expand
Building scalable systems and operational processes
Process documentation to ensure operations run on systems rather than institutional memory
What we’re looking for
5+ years experience in ecommerce operations, CPG operations, supply chain, or 3PL coordination
Experience working with international consumer brands
Experience coordinating with overseas factories on production, QC, and shipping
Strong Shopify experience required
Amazon Seller Central experience strongly preferred
Direct experience working with North American 3PL partners
Strong written and spoken English
Comfortable owning processes end-to-end and reporting directly to founders
Startup mindset with comfort building systems from scratch
Nice to have
EDI experience or familiarity with wholesale middleware platforms
Experience onboarding major North American retailers
Customer service or DTC ecommerce background
Experience working with premium or design-led brands
Fluency with AI tools and automation
Hours and pay
Full-time, remote
Significant overlap with Pacific Time required
USD $1,500–$2,500/month depending on experience
Performance reviews every 6 months with growth opportunities as the company scales
