Odoo Staging Environment Setup

I need help setting up a staging site for web development on Odoo. I have a client using the ERP system. The platform itself I do not like but I have to work with it. I have looked at Odoo.sh and do not really understand. I am looking for someone to set up a staging environment so that i can design the new site, then help me push it to the live production environment. If possible I would like to work with the current database.
