Summary: We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented New Business Specialist to join our growing financial services team. The ideal candidate will manage pending business cases, coordinate with various internal and external parties, and ensure a smooth and efficient process for new accounts, transfers, and transactions. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Pending Business Management
- Manage and monitor pending business cases, ensuring timely and accurate processing of client cases through the underwriting and delivery process for insurance policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving any open issues for a submitted application from the time the case is submitted to the point the case is issued.
Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate with financial advisors, clients, and internal departments (licensing) to gather and verify necessary documentation and information.
- Liaise with product providers, custodians, and other external parties to expedite case processing and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Communicate progress, updates, and any potential issues to relevant stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Compliance and Knowledge Maintenance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to pending business processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
Process Improvement
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and work with the team to implement changes that enhance efficiency and service quality.
Client and Provider Interaction
- Call providers in the US to check the status on cases.
- Text and call clients to share updates or request required documentation.

What you bring to the table - qualifications
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry (insurance), preferably in new business.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services, such as insurance policies, and retirement plans.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to maintain and safeguard the security of our agent's personal information.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work sitting down in front of a computer for long hours every day.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Able to pass our popo check (criminal background).
