Motion Graphics and Video Editor for Top Podcast Agency

Longwave is a UK-based podcast production agency on the lookout for an exceptional creative to join our growing Cebu team. You'd be working alongside our Filipino editors already on the team, all based in Cebu.
We're seeking a creative individual who can contribute their unique flair and design aesthetic across both motion graphics AND video editing, straddling the two confidently.

Important: this role is for Cebu-based candidates only. Our team is based in Cebu and we want our next hire to be part of that local community.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Help create YouTube videos, storytelling intros, and shortform content
Collaborate on podcast and YouTube video editing assignments for some of the top shows globally
Help design identities for podcasts and other creators
Actively shape the visual identity of our clients' brands
Deliver exceptional results within tight deadlines, with a supportive team behind you every step of the way

OUR TIERED GROWTH SYSTEM
We run a clear 5-tier progression so you always know what "getting better" looks like and what it unlocks. Each tier comes with a pay bump, with reviews — no favouritism, no guesswork.
Tier 1 — Short Form / Basic Video Editing: Cuts short-form clips and handles basic video edits to brief.
Tier 2 — Basic Motion Graphics: Applies and adapts existing motion templates; handles simple animation work.
Tier 3 — Motion Graphics: Full motion graphics capability, builds custom motion work and new templates.
Tier 4 — Storytelling: Crafts storytelling intros and narrative edits; moves beyond execution into creative direction.
Tier 5 — Elite Storytelling / Unassisted Motion Graphics: Top-level creative with full autonomy. Delivers high-end storytelling pieces and complex motion graphics independently.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Based in Cebu (this is a firm requirement)
1+ years video editing experience
Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, and the entire Adobe Creative Suite
A genuine interest in video podcasts and a willingness to share and discuss ideas with the team
Good written English for briefs, Slack, and ---------- comments
Reliable internet and a machine that can handle 4K footage
Available full time, Monday–Friday, with overlap with UK hours

WORK SETUP
37.5 hours/week, full time
Remote (work from home — must be based in Cebu)
Some overlap with UK hours required — exact schedule discussed in interview

COMPENSATION
Starting salary: £2.50 (200php) per hour to £8 (650php) per hour
