Microsoft MDM Intune Ecosystem

Microsoft 365 / Intune / Entra ID / Autopilot / Apple Business Manager Consultant
Project Overview

We are a growing commercial landscaping company with approximately 30-50 employees and are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 and Intune specialist to design, configure, and deploy a complete device management ecosystem.

Our goal is to consolidate management of Windows and Apple devices into a single, professionally configured platform using Microsoft Intune as our primary MDM.

We currently use Microsoft 365 Business Premium and have some foundational setup completed, but we need an expert to review, organize, and fully implement the environment according to best practices.

Existing Jamf environment (considering complete removal)

Users are assigned departments in Entra, and we intend to use those departments for automatic policy and device assignments.

Scope of Work

We are seeking someone who can:

Microsoft Intune
Review existing Intune configuration
Design overall management architecture
Configure device enrollment policies
Configure compliance policies
Configure conditional access policies
Configure device configuration profiles
Configure security baselines
Configure update rings
Configure application deployment
Configure reporting and monitoring
Microsoft Entra ID
Review existing Entra configuration
Configure dynamic groups
Configure role assignments
Review security settings
Configure identity management best practices
Windows Autopilot
Configure Autopilot from start to finish
Create deployment profiles
Configure zero-touch device provisioning
Configure user-driven enrollment
Verify device enrollment process
Create documentation for future deployments
Apple Business Manager & Apple Devices
Connect Apple Business Manager to Intune
Configure Apple MDM enrollment
Configure automated device enrollment
Configure iPhone and iPad management
Migrate from Jamf if appropriate
Ensure future Apple devices automatically enroll into Intune
Security & Standardization
Implement Microsoft security best practices
MFA review
Conditional Access review
Device compliance strategy
Endpoint security recommendations
User onboarding/offboarding workflow
Documentation

Must provide:

Network and system diagrams
Documentation of all configurations
Step-by-step onboarding process for new employees
Step-by-step device deployment process
Administrative guide for future management
Deliverables

By project completion we want:

One fully functioning MDM platform (Intune)
Windows devices deploying through Autopilot
Apple devices deploying through Apple Business Manager
Department-based automation for Production, Relations, and Admin
Documented onboarding and offboarding procedures
Security policies implemented
Jamf eliminated if no longer necessary
A clean, scalable environment that can support future growth
Required Experience
