What you'll do (daily):
Edit direct-response video ads for
Cut UGC-style ads, problem/solution spots, and hook-driven creative from raw and creator footage
Produce multiple variations of winning ads (new hooks, intros, CTAs, lengths) for testing — often 4–8 versions of one concept
Edit in the right specs and aspect ratios for Meta placements (9:16, 4:5, 1:1)
Add captions, sound design, text overlays, and pattern interrupts built for sound-off feeds
Apply our brand templates and keep creative consistent
Keep files organized in [Google Drive /
Expected volume: about [20–30] ad edits/variations per week.
Must-haves:
3+ years editing experience with a reel showing paid social / direct-response ad work (not event or corporate reels)
Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut)
Sharp instinct for hooks, pacing, and retention in a paid feed — you know why an ad stops the scroll
Solid audio cleanup, captions, and on-screen text built for sound-off viewing
Understanding of Meta ad formats, placements, and specs
Reliable, self-directed, and good with deadlines in an async setup
Stable internet and a computer that can handle editing
Nice-to-haves:
After Effects / motion graphics
SaaS or e-commerce ad experience
Familiarity with ad metrics (ROAS, CPA, hook rate, thumb-stop) and how creative affects them
AI editing tools (auto-captions, transcription) to work faster
Style: Clean, modern, fast — punchy hooks, readable text, sound-off-friendly. Focused on stopping the scroll and converting, not cinematic polish. Turnaround: ad variations next-day; new concepts in [24–48 hrs].
