JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT THE ROLE
Second Hour is an Australian independent watch brand seeking an experienced Meta Ads Manager to take ownership of our Facebook and Instagram advertising. Ads are currently live but underperforming — we need someone who can diagnose what is not working, restructure our campaigns, and drive measurable improvement in ROAS and customer acquisition cost.

This is not a set-and-forget role. We are looking for a proactive contractor who can think strategically, advise on content requirements, and collaborate closely with our team via WhatsApp on a weekly basis.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Audit existing Meta campaigns and identify why current ads are not converting
• Restructure the campaign architecture — separate prospecting and retargeting campaigns with appropriate audience segmentation
• Build and manage cold audience campaigns (interest-based and Lookalike) and warm retargeting campaigns (site visitors, engagers, cart abandoners)
• Write creative briefs for ad content that we can action internally — including copy direction, visual brief, format, and placement rationale
• Advise on what content is needed and why — you understand the funnel and can tell us what creative gaps are hurting performance
• Monitor performance daily and make optimisation decisions on targeting, bidding, budget allocation, and creative rotation
• Provide a clear weekly performance report covering spend, impressions, CTR, CPC, ROAS, and recommendations
• Communicate proactively via WhatsApp — we want a collaborator, not a contractor who disappears

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Non-negotiable requirements:

• Proven experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram) with demonstrated results
• Experience with luxury goods, premium consumer products, or high-consideration purchases — you must understand how customers research and d ---------- before buying
• Ability to write creative briefs: clear, actionable direction on copy, visuals, format, and audience rationale
• Strong written English — reports and briefs must be clear and professional
• Comfortable with weekly WhatsApp reporting and responsive communication
• Philippines-based
• Ability to slot into an existing collaborative marketing team — you will be working alongside other contributors and must be comfortable sharing context, aligning on direction, and communicating openly rather than operating in isolation

Highly valued:

• Experience with watch brands, jewellery, or other premium DTC (direct-to-consumer) products
• Familiarity with Meta Pixel setup, custom conversions, and attribution troubleshooting
• Experience with Advantage+ campaigns and Meta's AI-driven optimisation tools
• Understanding of the prospecting-to-retargeting funnel for high-ticket items

ABOUT SECOND HOUR
Second Hour is a watch brand built for people who value quality, design, and meaning over logo recognition. We operate lean and move fast — the person in this role will have real influence over how we grow.

HOW TO APPLY
Please apply with the following — applications missing any of these will not be considered:

• A brief overview of your Meta Ads experience (2–3 paragraphs)
