Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with extensive lighting experience to support our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing lighting solutions for various projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, as well as experience with lighting systems and technologies.


Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new lighting fixtures and systems for various applications.
• Coordination of UL, CA Title 24, DLC, and Energy Star requirements with production.
• Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule.
• Develop new products and enhance existing ones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure lighting designs meet project specifications and standards.
• Generate and manage new project ideas and development.
• Provide product technical support to customers.
• Conduct market research to understand and address market needs.
• Test, analyze, and evaluate new and modified products, processes, and services to align with business objectives.
• Research, plan, and implement new programs and protocols.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in lighting designs and LED lighting in the US.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting research, designing product solutions, and communicating findings.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Proven innovation and adaptability.
• Excellent analytical skills for researching and evaluating product design strategies.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Highly Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent root cause analysis skills
