Master Full Stack Developer / Technical CMO Manager

About the role
We are looking for a master-level developer who goes far beyond basic WordPress. You will own our website and technical stack, think like a CMO, and constantly improve performance, SEO, tracking, and security.

You should be the kind of person who uses AI, automation, and SQL to handle bulk changes (for example, updating 72 products in one go) instead of doing manual, repetitive work. You do not simply “finish tasks.” You question requests, think through the impact on speed, UX, SEO, analytics, and security, and propose better ways when needed.

Key responsibilities
• Own and manage the Ella’s Bubbles website and related tech stack.
• Work primarily in WordPress but use PHP, MySQL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom solutions.
• Plan and execute technical SEO and performance improvements (Core Web Vitals, caching, compression, image optimization, code cleanup).
• Use tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and page speed tools to find issues and opportunities.
• Write scripts and SQL queries for bulk updates and data cleanup instead of manual editing.
• Implement and maintain high security standards, backups, uptime monitoring, and error tracking.
• Raise flags when requests will hurt performance, UX, tracking, or security and suggest better alternatives.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership on landing pages, funnels, tracking, pixels, and A/B tests.
• Document systems and processes so our stack becomes more stable and scalable over time.

Requirements
• Expert-level WordPress skills: custom themes, plugins, hooks, filters, custom post types.
• Strong PHP, MySQL/SQL, React.JS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Proven experience with technical SEO and speed optimization.
• Solid understanding of web security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with SEMRush (or similar), GA4, Google Search Console, and page speed tools.
• Experience with eCommerce (WooCommerce or similar).
• UI/UX sensibility (clean, conversion-focused layouts and flows).
• Comfortable using AI tools to automate and accelerate development tasks.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Self-driven, highly responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.

Nice to have
• Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Familiarity with tag managers and event tracking.
• Experience in home improvement, senior care, or health-related industries.
