Marketplace Inventory Planner

The role of Marketplace Inventory Planner is to make data driven purchasing recommendations by:

Analyzing Sales Data: Review sales reports from Amazon and Walmart to identify top-performing and profitable products, determining which items need to be reordered.

Monitoring Current Inventory Levels: Track stock levels across Amazon and Walmart to prevent stockouts, overstock, and ensure continuous product availability.

Calculating Current Profitability: Assess product costs, marketplace fees, and sales performance to determine the profitability of each SKU.

Monitoring and Adjusting Item Pricing: Analyze competitive pricing and market trends to optimize product prices for maximum sales and margin efficiency.

Identifying Opportunities to Improve Inventory Turnover: Evaluate sales velocity and aging inventory to recommend strategies that improve sell-through rates and cash flow.

Drafting Purchase Orders: Generate purchase for review based on sales projections, inventory needs, and supplier lead times to maintain optimal stock levels.

Skill & Mindset
G-Suite Pro
Confidence in Google Sheets, Drive, and Gmail
Experience with Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, or other eCommerce platforms is a plus
You’re proactive with a default instinct is to Google it
Strong communication skills
Hours, Availability, and Compensation
Starts part time with full-time options available for high performers.
Our team is based in the U.S. Central Time (CST), and we expect availability between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM CST, Monday through Friday.
$4-8 Per Hour
