JOB OVERVIEW

If you love building funnels, wiring up automations, connecting systems together, and generally making back-end systems work, you'll feel right at home here. You'll own the backend of a fast-growing brand: the funnels, automations, emails, and pages behind everything we publish. Real ownership, real trust, and real room to grow as we grow.

WHO WE ARE, AND WHAT WE CARE ABOUT
We're The Ready Life, a fast-growing YouTube channel, email newsletter, and online membership that teaches everyday families how to become more self-reliant: water, power, heat, and food, for when the systems we all depend on fail. We're a small, husband-and-wife-led team, and we're a Christian faith-driven family business that runs the company the way we teach: honestly, no hype, built to last.

Three things matter most to us, and they'll show up in your work every day:

1 - Ownership. You take things to done and working, not "I did my part."
2 - Honesty and care. Our audience is sharp and skeptical, and we earn their trust by getting things right. A broken checkout or a wrong link costs a real family, so you build things that are tested and accurate.
3 - Always getting better. We test, learn, and improve, and you'll be encouraged to suggest smarter, faster ways to do things.

THE ROLE
Right now the founder designs the strategy and the offers, then also builds and wires up every piece by hand across a dozen tools. That's the bottleneck. Your job is to take the building, connecting, testing, and publishing off his plate so he can stay on strategy and content. You'll own whole systems start to finish, and you'll be the person we count on to make things work.

You don't need to be a software engineer or know how to code. The founder runs all of this today without coding. You need to be sharp, resourceful, comfortable with technical tools, and able to figure things out and make them work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO, AND WHY IT MATTERS
Every funnel and automation you build is the bridge between a YouTube viewer and a paying member. This is where our growth happens. Your work:

--Build and schedule emails, automations, and funnels in ActiveCampaign from our copy
--Set up products and checkouts in ThriveCart (pricing, order bumps, upsells, split tests)
--Build landing pages and redirects in WordPress (Divi)
--Build thumbnails and simple graphics, shared with our video editor
--Publish the membership version of each video, and schedule short clips in Opus
--Run the backend of our webinars (1 to 2 a month): slide deck, StreamYard, registration page, ActiveCampaign automations, pre- and post-webinar emails, and Deadline Funnel
--Connect our tools to each other (ActiveCampaign, ThriveCart, GA4, ---------- , Zapier, WordPress), and sort out the occasional technical snag so it doesn't bounce back to the founder
--Keep our tracking trustworthy (GA4, Tag Manager, UTMs) and pull data when we need it
--Help build and keep our Notion hub organized
--Test every path with a live run before it goes out

You'll run real systems and see the results of what you build, with a team that notices the work and appreciates it.

WHO YOU ARE
--Highly technical and great at figuring things out. Hand you a new tool and a goal, and you make it work.
--Marketing-minded. You understand emails, funnels, and conversions, and you care whether what you build actually performs.
--Excellent written English, and a clear, proactive communicator. You flag problems early and report back without being chased.
--Detail-obsessed and a natural tester. You catch the broken link before a customer does.
--An owner who improves what they touch and speaks up with better ideas.
--Reliable, with a solid computer, strong internet, and a quiet place to work.

NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE (not required)
ActiveCampaign, ThriveCart, WordPress/Divi, ---------- , or GA4. Email or funnel building. Comfort connecting tools and working with APIs. Basic HTML/CSS. Experience using AI tools to get work done. Resourcefulness matters more than checking every box.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
--A stable, long-term role working with a team that invests in you
--Real ownership of important systems, and more freedom as you prove yourself
--Growth as we grow, with pay that grows too
--A founder who sets you up to win, with clear instructions and tools that make you faster
--Meaningful work for a mission that helps real families, on a friendly, low-drama team
--Flexible work times - we don't care which hours of the day you work as long as you get your work in and have at least 1 hour of overlap with US Pacific time for handoffs.
--Expand your skillset on the job

HOW TO APPLY
Please read this whole post first, then apply through our quick application form:
----------

One small thing, so we know you actually read this: in the form's final box, "Anything else you'd like us to know?", start your answer with the word FUNNEL.

We review every complete application and invite the strongest fits to a short PAID test project, a real build-and-connect task, so we can see how you work before we commit. We're hiring one excellent person for the long haul.
