JOB OVERVIEW

Marketing Manager — Remote (Philippines)
GoodBulb | Fargo, North Dakota
Pay: ?45,000 – ?90,000 per month (depending on experience)

About GoodBulb

GoodBulb is building something that has never existed before, America's only LED light bulb factory in Fargo, North Dakota.

For 25 years, our founder Tom Enright has been in the lighting industry. He started selling light bulbs door to door on the streets of Chicago in 2001. He spent years traveling the world, working directly with factories, learning every detail of how light bulbs are made and watching American manufacturing disappear.

So he built it back.

In July 2026, GoodBulb begins producing the only American-made A19 LED light bulb in the country. The most advanced LED bulb automation in the world. Built in North Dakota.

And part of every sale helps give light to families living without electricity. That's not a promotion. That's who we are.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager who can take this story — and run with it.

What This Role Actually Is:

You will be the person who connects Tom's vision to our creative team.

We have talented people who can design, edit video, post content, and update our website. What they need is clear direction. That's your job.

You will take Tom's ideas and turn them into:
- Detailed creative briefs for our designer (Erol)
- Posting schedules and captions for our social media team (Joyce)
- Website update instructions for our web team (Joyce and Oreo)
- Image direction for our photo editor (Abegail)
- Campaign ideas for our PPC manager

You will own the content calendar, manage the team's weekly workload, and make sure everything that goes out looks and sounds like GoodBulb — bold, purposeful, and American.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Manage and direct our creative team daily — Erol, Joyce, Oreo, and Abegail
- Build and maintain a monthly social media content calendar
- Write creative briefs for every piece of content before it goes to the team
- Review all content before it goes live — copy, design, captions, everything
- Write or direct copy for social posts, email campaigns, and website pages
- Coordinate product launches and promotional campaigns end to end
- Report daily to Tom on what's going out, what's live, and what's coming next
- Keep the team organized, on schedule, and producing consistently

What We're Looking For

- Excellent written English — you will be writing briefs, captions, and copy daily
- Experience managing a creative team or coordinating multiple people on projects
- Strong understanding of social media — Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn
- Ability to take a rough idea and turn it into a detailed, actionable brief
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently without constant follow-up
- Genuine interest in the GoodBulb mission — this brand runs on purpose and story
- Experience with e-commerce, DTC brands, or product marketing is a strong plus

Bonus (Not Required)

- Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Experience with Klaviyo or email marketing platforms
- Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems
- Familiarity with Google or Meta advertising
- Experience with Amazon product listings or A+ content

How We Work

- Fast-moving — we are launching a factory in July 2026 and there is real urgency
- Tom sets the vision and priorities, you run the execution
- We value people who think ahead, flag problems early, and solve things themselves
- Clear, direct communication — no corporate speak, no fluff
- Long-term role with real opportunity to grow as GoodBulb grows

Compensation

- ?45,000 – ?90,000 PHP per month depending on experience
- Performance bonuses available as the company grows
- Long-term opportunity with a company building something historic

To Apply

Please include:

- A short description of a brand or product you have managed content for
- Two or three examples of content you have written, briefed, or directed
- A brief explanation of how you manage a creative team and keep projects on track
- Your monthly rate expectation

Application Questions

1. You have a designer, a social media poster, a web updater, and a photo editor on your team. Tom tells you: "I want to announce our factory launch for July 4th — make it big." Walk me through exactly what you do next.

2. Give me an example of a brand story you have helped tell through content. What was the story and how did you bring it to life?

3. How do you keep a remote creative team on track when everyone is working in different directions?

4. What does a good creative brief look like to you? What has to be in it before a designer or writer can start?

5. Why does the GoodBulb story matter to you personally?
