Marketing Assistant Position


Overview:

Cleary is looking to add a highly-motivated, solutions-oriented, and meticulously organized individual to our small but powerful go-to-market team to support and enhance our digital marketing efforts. This individual will manage CRM activities, create and distribute content, support digital campaigns, and analyze marketing performance. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and familiarity with digital marketing tools.

Cleary is a California-based tech start-up building an innovative employee experience Intranet platform designed to enhance internal communications and foster a connected company culture, particularly beneficial in remote and distributed work environments.

It integrates advanced features for content creation, including AI-driven tools and customizable templates, enabling organizations to craft engaging internal communications effectively. Cleary also facilitates employee recognition through digital badges and shoutouts, integrates seamlessly with external calendars for event management, and provides comprehensive analytics to monitor engagement and usage.

Additionally, Cleary supports detailed customization to align with company branding and offers powerful search capabilities to ensure employees can quickly find necessary information. This platform is instrumental in automating and personalizing the employee journey, from onboarding through ongoing engagement, making it an essential tool for modern organizations looking to maintain a vibrant, connected workforce.



Key Responsibilities:

-CRM Management: Handle majority of the operational elements of our HubSpot CRM, including contact updates, segmentation, and automated workflow setups to maintain an organized and up-to-date database for personalized marketing communications.
-Creation of Assets (Written and Visual): Use tools like Canva to design engaging content, and leverage ChatGPT for drafting compelling written materials. Light video editing will also be required. Consistency and operating within a repeatable framework are crucial here.
-Distribution of Marketing Materials: Oversee the distribution of marketing materials across various channels, including social media and email, to ensure effective reach.
-Data Entry & List Building: Perform data entry and list building, using tools like Seamless.ai for lead generation and managing the database effectively.
-Project Management: Oversee the documentation of progress within marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with overall marketing strategies and timelines.
-Scheduling Support: Provide support for scheduling various marketing activities, ensuring coordination and timely execution. This could include booking podcast guests, partner introductions, or prep calls for a webinar.
-Reporting/Measurement: Monitor and report on predetermined KPIs across marketing campaigns.


Minimum Requirements:

-Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the software or technology industry.
-CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with HubSpot for contact management, email marketing, and campaign tracking.
-Content Creation Tools: Skilled in using tools like Canva for designing social media posts and promotional materials.
-Digital Marketing Platforms: Experience with managing and evaluating social media campaigns, email marketing efforts, and content distribution using platforms like LinkedIn, WordPress, and email marketing tools.
-Analytical Skills: Proficient in using Google Sheets for data analysis, reporting, and decision-making based on metrics.
-Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective content creation, collaboration, and reporting.
-Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in managing marketing databases, executing campaigns, and analyzing performance data.
