As a Marketing Assistant at GRW Brands, you are the operational backbone of the creative marketing team. Working closely with our Creative Strategists, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that ad campaigns are launched flawlessly, translation processes run smoothly, and team communication flows effectively.
Your mission is to uphold excellence in execution. Every task you touch—from launching ads to managing proofreaders—is crucial to ensuring our marketing engine performs at the highest level. You are a detail-driven, organized, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ad Launching
Take full ownership of launching approved ads to Meta, using the correct campaign, landing page, and account settings.
Ensure the Google Drive structure is properly updated and that launch confirmation is communicated to the team.
Double-check that all launch elements are in place—no errors, no delays.
Ask for clarity whenever unsure—perfection is the standard here.
2. Support for Creative Strategists
Assist with admin and marketing tasks, including setting up translation tools (like Hextom or Koala), preparing SOPs, answering questions from the creative team, or researching new products.
Cross-check translated product pages using AI and proofreader feedback.
Help document challenges or bugs by recording short Loom walkthroughs for team visibility.
3. Creating Translation Briefs
Based on strategist direction or automated workflows, prepare translation briefs and assign them to the correct proofreaders.
Ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with creative intent in all briefs.
4. Managing Proofreaders
Maintain smooth communication and task flow with our global proofreader network.
Monitor and follow up on overdue tasks.
Handle Slack outreach, approvals, and special deals where necessary.
Track all payment requirements, issues, and notes for transparency.
Activate/inactivate proofreaders in PCMS based on availability and responsiveness.
Conduct occasional random quality checks to maintain high standards.
5. Team Communication
Be a reliable point of contact for editors, designers, and strategists.
Respond promptly to messages and help direct questions to the right person.
Proactively join meetings with the marketing team and clarify your tasks and priorities.
6. Ownership & Organisation
Keep workflows, to-dos, and project boards clean, clear, and current.
Create and maintain internal documents such as SOPs, message templates, and proofreader logs.
Anticipate problems and flag gaps in processes, offering suggestions for improvement.
Document everything clearly so others can step in if needed as the company grows.
