Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role will involve planning and scheduling work for industrial processing plants, ensuring accurate and up-to-date maintenance records in SAP, and developing high-quality work packages that can be executed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities for industrial processing plants.

Create and update SAP master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), task lists, maintenance strategies, and maintenance plans.

Develop detailed work packages, including required materials, resources, tools, and safety documentation.

Interpret and use engineering drawings, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.

Optimise work order planning to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and site teams to ensure readiness for execution.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven industrial experience in maintenance planning, preferably within processing plants (e.g., cement, mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry).

Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical equipment.

Proficient in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), particularly in managing master data, BOMs, task lists, and maintenance strategies.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Experience in developing and scheduling detailed work packages.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Desirable

Previous experience working with shutdowns or major maintenance events.

Knowledge of maintenance best practices and reliability principles.
