MCA Underwriter / Cash Advance Underwriter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MCA Underwriter / Cash Advance Underwriter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis and risk assessment, particularly within the Merchant Cash Advance (MCA) industry. This role requires the ability to evaluate creditworthiness, analyze financial statements, and make sound underwriting decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant financial data to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and make underwriting decisions in line with company policies and risk tolerance.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth funding process.
• Review and verify applicant information to detect and prevent fraudulent activity.
• Maintain detailed records of underwriting decisions and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Provide recommendations for loan approvals, declines, or modifications based on analysis.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in MCA and cash advance underwriting.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in MCA underwriting, cash advance underwriting, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk assessment.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to make independent decisions and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
