As our delivery operation expands, we are looking for a reliable and organized Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to help manage routes, book return loads, and coordinate deliveries.

# Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Dispatch Coordinator to assist with scheduling deliveries, booking backhaul freight loads, communicating with drivers, and keeping routes running efficiently.

This position plays a key role in helping reduce deadhead miles and maximize delivery profitability.

# Responsibilities

* Search for and book return freight loads using load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.)
* Coordinate delivery schedules and routes
* Communicate with drivers regarding pickup and delivery details
* Contact freight brokers and negotiate load details
* Track deliveries and update schedules as needed
* Organize delivery paperwork and load confirmations
* Maintain communication with customers regarding delivery timing
* Assist with route planning and logistics coordination
* Help reduce downtime and maximize truck profitability

# Requirements

* Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
* Excellent organizational skills
* Ability to multitask and manage schedules
* Comfortable using computers, spreadsheets, and logistics software
* Reliable internet connection
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently

# Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with freight dispatching or logistics
* Familiarity with DAT Load Board or Truckstop
