Local Project Coordinator — Land Development (Laguna, Philippines)

We are chasing our dream in Magdalena, Laguna — purchasing agricultural land in Brgy. San Isidro and developing it into a home and farm. Before we finalize the purchase, we need someone on the ground to gather key information and quotes from local offices and contractors.

What we need help with:
• Visit the Municipal Engineering Office of Magdalena to request referrals for local gravel road contractors
• Visit or call the barangay captain of Brgy. San Isidro to ask about water grid availability and connection cost
• Contact Meralco San Pablo regarding electricity connection requirements and cost estimate for our property
• Contact Laguna Water to confirm if the area falls within their service coverage
• Collect rough quotes from contractors for: gravel road construction (approximately 427m, 4.5m wide), deep well drilling, electricity connection, and water connection to the local grid network
• Compile all findings into a clear written summary report

Please note: we are in the process of commissioning a geodetic survey of the property, which will provide the accurate terrain and distance data contractors typically need for final quotes. For now, rough estimates based on the location and general scope are what we are after. Quotes can be refined later once survey data is available.

What we are looking for:
• Based in or near Magdalena, San Pablo, or Sta. Cruz, Laguna
• Fluent in Tagalog and English
• Someone who follows through — you do what you say you will do
• A fast mover when it comes to gathering information — you know how to get answers quickly
• Creative with problem solving — if one door is closed you find another way
• Able to deliver a clear written summary of findings, not just a verbal update
• Experience in construction, land, or property coordination is a plus but not required

Compensation:
Base rate is PHP 4,000 per day with a PHP 500 daily transport allowance, capped at 5 billable days.

We reward speed and thoroughness. A completion bonus is available based on how quickly all tasks are delivered with quality written reports: PHP 15,000 for completion within 3 days, PHP 10,000 within 5 days, and PHP 5,000 within 7 days. No bonus applies after 7 days.

We also offer PHP 3,000 per category for every quote we end up using from the four areas: electricity connection, gravel road construction, deep well system, and water grid connection — up to PHP 12,000 additional if we use your quotes across all categories. All quotes must include the contractor’s name and contact number for independent verification.

Total compensation ranges from PHP 22,500 (5 days, no bonuses) to PHP 40,500 (completed in 3 days with quotes used across all categories).
