Seeking a Legal Assistant

Do you want to help people get to their happily ever after?
We are an entrepreneurial family law and property litigation firm that is on track for aggressive growth and we need an experienced legal assistant to join our team and work directly with the owner, attorneys and other staff members to support the team and help our clients.
We want to be known for helping our clients come out of an extremely emotional process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them. We are growing fast, and we need an attorney who can hit the ground running.
This position will be responsible for important work, including:

· Maintain Attorneys’ calendars;
· Calendar court, discovery and filing deadlines;
· Draft emails and correspondences to clients, court personnel and 3rd parties;
· Review, file and respond to emails and facsimiles daily;
· Maintain electronic client files in MyCase;
· Monitor and assist with workflows;
· Assist in drafting and filing of routine pleadings such as Notices of Appearance, Notices
of Leaves of Absence;
Conduct electronic filing of Court documents;
· Assist with Motion assembly
· Document management
· Small tasks on an as-needed basis

The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand-holding.
