We are a US-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) seeking a Junior IT Engineer to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–3 years of experience who are passionate about technology and eager to grow in a supportive environment.
You’ll start by focusing on day-to-day technical support and gradually take on more project-related tasks as your skills develop. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, receive structured onboarding, and get real-world exposure to modern IT environments, tools, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
*Technical Support (Level 1–2)
- Provide remote technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Escalate more complex problems to senior engineers when needed, while staying involved to learn from the resolution.
*PC Maintenance & Setup
- Perform PC maintenance, upgrades, and new workstation installations.
- Install and configure standard software and tools according to company and client standards.
*User Support & Remote Work
- Manage and support user equipment, software, and services remotely using our remote management tools.
- Guide end users through basic troubleshooting steps in a clear and professional manner.
*Documentation & Ticketing
- Document all work accurately and thoroughly in the ticketing system.
- Keep tickets updated with progress notes and resolutions to ensure transparency and team collaboration.
*Project Assistance (as you grow)
- Assist senior engineers with IT projects such as small deployments, migrations, and network changes.
- Follow implementation plans and checklists, gradually taking more ownership as your experience increases.
Technologies You’ll Work With:
You don’t need to be an expert in everything on day one, but familiarity with some of these is a strong plus, and we’ll help you grow into the rest:
*Operating Systems
- Windows desktop environments (Windows 10/11)
- Mac (basic support is a plus)
- Windows Server (exposure/interest is a plus)
*Networking
- Basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
- Exposure to devices like Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet is a plus
*Cloud Platforms
- Microsoft 365 (user management,
- Basic understanding or interest in Azure is a plus
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience & Background
- 0–3 years of experience in an IT Support, Helpdesk, or related technical role.
- Experience in an MSP environment is a plus but not required.
- Recent graduates or career shifters with strong foundational knowledge are welcome to apply.
*Skills & Mindset
- Strong basic troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and simple network issues.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Excellent customer service mindset – patient, professional, and user-focused.
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work independently while being an active part of a remote team.
Preferred but Not Required:
These are nice-to-haves, not must-haves. We’re happy to help you grow into them:
* IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar.
* Exposure to firewalls, VPNs, and virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.).
* Experience with RMM and ticketing tools used in MSPs.
