JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there! Our advertising agency is seeking a Junior Creative Strategist to join our performance marketing agency that specializes in paid social media advertising for e-commerce brands.

As a Junior Creative Strategist you will help develop data-driven briefs for branded ads and User Generated Content “UGC” with the support of your team. Your role will include idea generation, crafting hooks and headlines, maintaining our ad naming token system, creative analysis and conducting initial and ongoing research for multiple clients. You will collaborate closely with creative strategists, designers, editors, and media buyers to develop effective advertising strategies, and foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team.

You'll be responsible for analysing creative performance in collaboration with other departments through regular reports and communication in Slack & ClickUp. Your ability to turn high level direction into a clear and thoughtful creative brief will be key. You will also contribute to creative pipeline planning and provide support to strategists and managers as needed, while staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

[About You]
What you have:
Solid understanding of social media advertising best practices
Passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
Experience applying the principles of creative strategy, either as a content strategist, media buyer, designer, editor or content creator
Experience with direct-to-consumer, e-commerce brands
Strong communication and collaboration skills. Hungry for new ideas and the perspective of others.
Experience with creative analysis in ads managers/Motion/TripleWhale, NorthBeam, Google Data Studio is a bonus
Foundational understanding of DTC principles, strategies and techniques that drive performance

[About The Role]
This is a full-time role with 40 hours per week available. Time will be tracked in our project management system, ClickUp, and wages paid out monthly.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Taking direction from our creative strategy team to develop creative briefs for multiple clients using AI tools in order to provide direction for designers and editors.
Building out ad naming tokens for new briefs and maintaining our token system spreadsheets for new creative assets on an ongoing basis.
Regularly analyzing creative ad performance in collaboration with other departments; providing testing dashboard updates and supporting with creative insights in reports (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc).
Support with onboarding, ongoing market & client research.
Support in managing and maintaining marketing calendars and creative testing pipelines to identify strategic priorities for advertising.
