Job Title: Experienced Bookkeeper (Remote – Philippines Based)

About Us

We focus on improving efficiency, profitability, and work-life balance for our clients. As we expand, we’re looking for an experienced bookkeeper with strong Xero and Hubdoc expertise to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Compliance
- Manage and reconcile financial records, including general ledgers, bank statements, and supplier accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Handle payroll processing, ensuring compliance with Australian Fair Work regulations, PAYG, and superannuation.
- Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, and other tax-related reports.

Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Generate and analyze profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Identify discrepancies and implement process improvements to maintain financial accuracy.

Tech & System Integration
- Use Xero and Hubdoc to manage financial transactions and automate data entry.
- Work with systems that integrate with Xero to streamline accounting processes.
- Utilised Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.

Collaboration & Client Support
- Work closely with the Virtual Service Advisor (VSA) team to maintain accurate financial data.
- Communicate professionally with Australian clients and suppliers via Slack and email.
- Report directly to your Filipino Operations Manager and collaborate with the broader team.

What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience. - Advanced Xero and Hubdoc expertise.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, including BAS, GST, and payroll compliance. - Proficiency in Google
Sheets and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Degree in Accounting Technology (or equivalent).
- Familiarity with inventory and job costing systems.
- TESDA certification in Bookkeeping NC III or Accounting NC III (preferred for Philippine candidates).
