Junior Bookkeeper

We're Bullseye Bookkeeping, a US-based bookkeeping firm run by a CPA, serving small business owners across a range of industries (restaurants, real estate, trades, professional services, and more). We pride ourselves on clean, accurate books and reliable turnaround for our clients. We're looking for a detail-oriented bookkeeper to join our team and take ownership of recurring data-entry and bookkeeping tasks so our work stays on schedule.

This is a part-time position, roughly 5-10 hours per week to start, with room to grow as we add clients. Your main focus will be accurately entering and organizing financial transactions in QuickBooks Online — much of it taking data from spreadsheets and exports and getting it into QBO correctly and consistently.

What You'll Do
- Post transactions from spreadsheets and exports into QuickBooks Online
- Categorize transactions to the correct accounts based on provided guidelines
- Help keep client books organized and up to date
- Flag anything that looks unusual or doesn't reconcile
- Recommend process improvements and QuickBooks transaction rules that can be added
- Follow established processes and checklists for each client

What We're Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and how transactions hit the books
- Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented (in your video submission, tell us what your favorite hobby is outside of work)
- Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines
- Good written English for clear communication
- Able to work independently once trained on our processes

Nice to Have
- Experience with US-based clients and US accounting practices
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification
- Familiarity with payment platforms (Stripe, etc.) or POS exports
