JOB OVERVIEW

About VocabCartoons

VocabCartoons is a fast-growing EdTech startup creating short, engaging animated videos that help children (ages 8–16) learn English vocabulary through stories, quizzes, and games.

We combine storytelling, animation, and AI tools to make learning fun, memorable, and accessible. Our platform is subscription-based, and we are focused on rapid growth through high-quality content and strong execution.

As an early tea ---------- mber, you will work closely with a small, ambitious team and grow alongside the company.

Role Overview

We are looking for a junior animator / video editor with at least 6 months of experience, good English, and strong attention to detail.

This role focuses mainly on post-production and AI-assisted animation, not complex animation from scratch. You will use tools such as MagicLight AI and ChatGPT to efficiently produce short educational videos.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants:

Stable, long-term work

Clear instructions and structure

Hands-on experience using modern AI tools in production

Compensation

USD $400 per month

Full-time, remote

Preferred minimum commitment: 6 months

30-day trial period

Incentive & Growth Plan

In addition to the base salary:

The Contractor’s monthly base salary will increase by USD $10 for every 1,000 new paying members gained by VocabCartoons.

Salary increases are cumulative and reviewed periodically.

This incentive is designed to reward long-term contribution as the company scales.

What This Role Is NOT

To avoid confusion, this role does not include:

? Complex character design from scratch
? Full story writing or creative direction
? Advanced animation or VFX work

This is an execution-focused role, not a senior creative position.

Performance Expectations

With clear briefs and SOPs, a junior in this role should be able to:

Complete 1–2 short scenes per day, or

Finish one short video per day, depending on complexity

Accuracy and consistency are more important than speed.

Why This Is a Good Opportunity

Stable monthly income

Clear expectations and workflows

Opportunity to grow with a scaling startup
