Jewelry CAD Designer

We are looking for seasoned jewelry CAD designers to add to our growing production department.

You will:
• Create accurate, production-ready CAD models for engagement rings, wedding bands, and custom fine jewelry
• Interpret client requests, sketches, inspiration images, and specifications into manufacturable designs
• Work closely with our production team to ensure files meet technical requirements
• Prepare files for 3D printing and manufacturing
• Work efficiently while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Participate in continual improvement of CAD standards and workflows

REQUIREMENTS:

• Expertise in Rhino / Matrix / MatrixGold (or equivalent jewelry CAD platforms)
• Minimum 5 years jewelry CAD experience (experience in manufacturing environment is preferred)

Strong understanding of:
• stone settings (solitaire, halo, pave, bezel, channel, prong work)
• tolerance & structural integrity
• proportions, comfort fit, wearability
• manufacturing considerations
• Experience preparing STL files for production / printing
• Ability to produce clean, precise, and manufacturable CAD files

**Experience designing engagement rings is a BIG advantage

WHAT WE OFFER:
