JOB OVERVIEW

Remote Standards & Compliance Auditor (Part-Time)

Location: Philippines (Remote)
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Reports To: Manager of Standards & Compliance

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Remote Standards & Compliance Auditor to help ensure our restaurants consistently execute operational standards across all locations.

This is not an administrative role. We are looking for someone who enjoys finding problems, asking questions, investigating inconsistencies, and helping drive accountability across a growing restaurant system.

This role is responsible for conducting weekly operational audits, reviewing inventory and reporting accuracy, identifying compliance gaps, and working directly with Store Leaders through scheduled virtual walkthroughs. The successful candidate will act as an extension of our Operations team, helping identify issues before they become larger problems and ensuring accountability throughout the system.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing data, spotting inconsistencies, asking questions, and holding teams accountable to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct weekly virtual audits of assigned restaurant locations.

Schedule and lead weekly video walkthroughs with Store Leaders using Zoom, Google Meet, FaceTime, or similar platforms.

Review store execution against current Standard Operating Procedures, operational checklists, cleanliness standards, food safety requirements, and company initiatives.

Verify that promotional programs, marketing materials, menu items, and operational procedures are being executed correctly.

Review inventory reports and identify unusual variances, inconsistencies, or potential reporting errors.

Analyze food cost, inventory movement, waste reporting, labour performance, and ordering patterns to identify areas requiring further investigation.

Compare inventory usage against sales trends and flag unusual activity.

Review cash controls, discounts, voids, refunds, and other operational exceptions as directed.

Document all findings, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

Maintain detailed audit records and supporting evidence including screenshots, photos, and written notes.

Prepare and submit weekly summary reports outlining:

• Compliance scores

• Inventory concerns

• Operational issues

• Outstanding action items

• Stores requiring immediate follow-up

• Positive observations and best practices

Escalate serious concerns, repeated non-compliance, or suspected misconduct immediately.

Track outstanding issues and follow up with stores until corrective action has been completed.

Key Performance Indicators

Complete all assigned weekly audits and walkthroughs on schedule.

Maintain accurate and detailed audit records for every location reviewed.

Ensure all identified issues are documented, communicated, and tracked through resolution.

Deliver a comprehensive weekly report to leadership outlining findings, trends, and recommendations.

Identify and report a minimum of five actionable findings every week across the system. Findings may include operational issues, inventory discrepancies, compliance failures, food cost concerns, labour opportunities, training gaps, or process improvements. The expectation of this role is not simply to verify compliance, but to actively identify opportunities that improve performance and accountability throughout the organization.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and discrepancies.

Comfortable reviewing spreadsheets, reports, inventory counts, and operational data.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Highly organized with strong follow-up skills.

Confident leading virtual meetings with managers and holding professional conversations around accountability.

Experience in restaurant operations, auditing, inventory control, compliance, quality assurance, or multi-unit operations is considered an asset.

Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and online reporting tools.

Success in This Role Looks Like

Stores consistently following operational standards.

Inventory variances identified and investigated quickly.

Managers held accountable to action items and follow-up commitments.

Leadership receiving concise, accurate, and actionable weekly reporting.

Operational issues identified before they become larger business problems.

This role plays a critical part in protecting operational standards, improving consistency across locations, and ensuring every restaurant delivers the experience our guests expect.
