Intimate Wear Deisgner

The Intimate Wear Designer will lead the creative and technical development of an established local brand’s upcoming intimate wear line — covering lingerie, shapewear, and nightwear. This role bridges creativity and product functionality, ensuring every design embodies the brand’s mission to empower women through comfort, confidence, and thoughtful design.

Key Responsibilities
1?? Creative Design & Development
Conceptualize design directions and seasonal collections aligned with the brand’s identity and women-empowerment mission.
Sketch lingerie, shapewear, and sleepwear designs digitally (Adobe Illustrator or CLO3D).
Research market trends, materials, and inclusive fit standards.
Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams for storytelling and campaign alignment.
2?? Technical Development & Sample Coordination
Create detailed tech packs (measurements, trims, fabrics, stitching details, packaging notes).
Review and evaluate fit samples and prototypes from the partner manufacturer.
Provide clear technical feedback and track revisions until final approval.
Approve fabric swatches and trims; manage the materials library.
Ensure designs are both aesthetically aligned and production-feasible.
3?? Factory Communication & Production Handoff
Coordinate directly with the factory’s development team for sampling timelines and production details.
Ensure clear communication of design intent and technical revisions.
Oversee quality checks for pre-production samples and resolve any design-related issues.
4?? Innovation & Research
Explore sustainable and functional materials (e.g., bamboo fabrics, recycled lace, skin-safe silicone integration).
Continuously research fit, comfort, and support innovations in intimate wear.
Keep updated with global lingerie and shapewear trends for design inspiration.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Clothing Technology, or a related field.
Min. of 3 years of experience in lingerie, intimates, or apparel design (with sampling experience).
Strong understanding of fit, construction, and materials for intimate wear.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO3D (or similar CAD tools).
Experience working with overseas manufacturers.
Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
