Interior Design Technical Assistant, Chief Architect Preferred

We are looking for a detail-oriented Interior Design Technical Assistant to support our team with technical interior design tasks for residential projects.

This role is best for someone who enjoys the production side of design, including elevations, drafting, 3D model updates, material libraries, and technical drawing coordination.

Responsibilities include:

Creating and updating interior elevations
Assisting with 3D models and design development
Building and organizing material/product libraries
Preparing technical drawings for kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, and built-ins
Supporting designers with construction documentation
Helping maintain consistency across project files and templates
Assisting with rendering workflows and visual presentation support

Requirements:

Experience with interior design or architectural drafting
Strong understanding of interior elevations, cabinetry, millwork, and residential construction details
Experience with Chief Architect is highly preferred
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar design software is a plus
Experience with AI rendering tools is a strong plus
Good eye for proportion, details, and clean technical drawings
Organized, reliable, and able to follow instructions carefully
Good English communication skills
Must be comfortable working remotely and coordinating with a design team

Ideal Candidate:

Someone who is technical, detail-focused, fast to learn, and already familiar with interior design workflows. Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, material schedules, and Chief Architect will be a major advantage.
