About Us:
West Village Interior ( ---------- /) is a modern interior design company with a commitment to pushing the boundaries of design. We create innovative and captivating spaces that leave a lasting impression. Our team thrives on creativity and seeks to redefine the world of interior design.

Position Overview:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Interior Designer/Coordinator with a strong grasp of the design process and a passion for client management, organization, and execution. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys the operational side of design—tracking deadlines, coordinating deliverables, supporting client updates, and managing vendors or contractors. It’s a hybrid role: part design, part operations, and fully essential to our process.

This is a part-time or seasonal role, with the possibility of growing into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Client-Facing Coordination: Track and manage timelines, schedules, and client updates across multiple interior design projects.
2. Estimation & Selling: Assist with scope definitions, cost estimations, sourcing quotes, and pricing. Love to upsell
3. Client Design Support: Communicate project updates clearly in written and spoken English; anticipate needs and flag delays proactively. Ability to modify renders and sourcing lists.
4. Design Documentation: Assist with floor plans, 3D models, and sourcing materials (you won’t be solely responsible for design, but a working knowledge helps).
5. Task Management: Organize action items, coordinate between design and sourcing teams, and escalate issues that may impact timelines.

Qualifications:
5+ years of full-time professional experience, preferably in design, construction coordination, or interior project management.
1. Strong English speaking *Required*
2. A portfolio showcasing your interior design work. *Required*
3. Prior experience with US-based homeowners, companies or contractors *Preferred, please note in application*
4. Prior experience working night shift preferred
5. Ability to produce floor plans, 3d renderings and CAD drawings. Preferred, but not required are tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
6. Project management experience
7. Please note any managerial experience - not required

Compensation:
Competitive compensation and flexible work arrangements. All hires are part-time to start ($5/hour). At full-time, $700 - $1,250 total compensation (figures include annual bonus) depending on years experience after university, English level.

Expectations:
Part-time shifts can work anytime. Full-time shifts: 9am-5pm ET. Either Tues - Sat or Mon - Fri

How to Apply:
Please also send a link to a cloud-based folder containing a voice recording of you reading your cover letter stating preference for full-time or part-time work, your resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter detailing your experience. Also tell us how many years you spent managing clients. Indicate interest in part-time or full-time work. Without this, you will not be considered.

We look forward to seeing how your creativity and expertise can help us continue to redefine interior design!
