JOB OVERVIEW

NESS Behavior is seeking a skilled and compassionate **Intake and Client Coordinator** to serve as the key liaison for our new and existing clients. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for new families, guiding them through the entire intake process. You will also serve as a crucial link between our clinical staff, clients, and insurance providers, ensuring the seamless delivery of **ABA therapy** through ongoing scheduling, communication, and authorization management. ### **Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct free consultations and manage the full client intake process, from initial inquiry to case assignment.
* Collaborate with the Administrative **BCBA** to match new staff with appropriate cases and facilitate kickoff meetings.
* Manage client scheduling and review session notes to support the clinical team.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for families, providing regular support, updates, and compassionate communication.
* Collect and submit necessary insurance information to secure initial authorizations and submit reports for re-authorization.
* Proactively monitor authorization statuses to ensure there are no interruptions in service.
* Work closely with other NESS administrative staff to provide quality support to our clinical team and the families we serve.

### **Qualifications**

* Proven experience in a client-facing or administrative role, preferably within a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
* A strong background in **ABA therapy** and a solid understanding of **ABA principles** and terminology.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on supporting clinical staff and families.
* Experience with **insurance verification, authorization, and reporting processes**.
* Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
* Proficiency with digital tools and client management systems.
