This position may start part-time for the first 1-3 months or so as you receive training and start adding tasks and responsibilities to your plate one by one, and then it will grow into a busier, more fast-paced, full-time position. This is a great opportunity with potential for career growth and raises after at least one year.
Some roles and responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):
Insurance and Document Management
- VOB (Verification of Benefits)
- Authorization Task Management
- Task Creation and Assignment
- Tracking and Monitoring
- Processing Faxes Received
- POC (Plan of Care) Management:
- Send POCs to MDs, Resend POCs to MDs, Follow-Up Calls for Unsigned Treatment Plans
Payroll Processes
- Post Payments within EMR (Raintree)
- Timesheet Management
- Load Timesheets, Enter Approved PTO dates/info onto the Timesheets, Meal/Rest Break Tracking
- Adobe eSign Document Management:
Tracking and Reporting
- Build Master Invoices
- Pull Specific Reports from EMR
- Posting Review/EOD (End of Day)
Some skills and qualifications required for the position include:
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures.
- Data entry with precision (attention to detail)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, such as this requirement that you must change the subject line of your application
- Excellent English fluency and great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Problem-solving abilities with research skills
- Tech fluent
Additional Info:
- Work hours will typically need to be during US time zones, i.e. from 8 am - 5 pm EST or PST (or in a time zone between EST and PST)
- 15 days of flexible PTO per year; accrues over the course of the year starting after 1 month of employment; cap of up to 120 hours of PTO accrued. This PTO can be used flexibly toward PTO/vacation, holidays or sick leave, as you choose-- you'll just need to let us know ahead of time (except in the case of sudden sickness).
- Rates: $5-9/hr., or $860-1,548/month (depending on experience and qualifications)

Radiant Kids Therapy is a small business (~80 employees) located in sunny San Diego, California. We offer in-home speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy services to children ages 0 - 18. We started in 2018 and have grown quickly as a company; we plan to continue growing and expanding our reach, so there are exciting opportunities for career advancement and longevity.
