IT Cloud Engineer (Work from Home)

We are a small technology solutions company offering private cloud hosting, managed IT services, AI integrations, and a SaaS service focused on the teleservices industry.

We are seeking a “Rock-Star” IT Cloud Engineer to work remotely full-time from home to provide support to each of our business units. You would be providing a blend of cloud management, cloud automation, IT consulting and support. This is a contractor position.

This remote position will be customer-facing at times, so you will need to be;
- very confident in front of customers
- very professional and present concepts well as a consultant
- love solving problems and be a great troubleshooter.

Key Technical Skills - You must be very strong in all of the following:
• Linux systems administration (ideally Ubuntu)
• Windows server systems administration
• Networking: IP addressing, subnetting, firewalls, routing/switching, DNS, etc)
• Cloud infrastructure - virtualization - XCPng/VMware – deploying/managing cloud environments
• Docker and Kubernetes (You must be great at this)
• Coding in Python
• Automation … Microsoft Windows automation, Terraform, PXE Booting, Ubuntu Autoinstaller, Cloud-Init

We care more about what you have done and your capabilities rather than how many years experience that you have in each area.

Our audience is Americans….. So you would need to have EXCELLENT spoken English skills (without a discernable accent), plus very good written/grammar skills.

Work Schedule:
The work week schedule would be something like:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00pm Central Standard Time USA.
or
Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 7:00pm Central Standard Time USA.
Some weekend work may be requested at times.
