This role will be part of the Shared Services organization of a premier franchisee operator of two franchise brands:

Temple Ventures -- which is a premier Mathnasium franchise operator, operating 31 learning centers across six states (MD, KS, VA, MO, OK, and FL).

Vertex Fitness Group -- which is the premier JETSET Pilates franchise operator across Chicago, Northern Virginia, and the Twin Cities.

Shared Services includes Admin, Finance, and HR functions, and provides support to both Temple Ventures and Vertex.

Mathnasium is the leading math-only tutoring franchise that helps students in grades K–12 build number sense and mathematical fluency through personalized, in-center instruction based on the Mathnasiu ---------- thod. About the role:

The HR Lead is responsible for overseeing and executing a wide range of human resources functions to support the organization's mission, culture, and workforce. This role manages daily HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, learning and development and performance management. The HR Lead serves as a key resource to employees and leaders, ensuring a positive employee experience, promoting organizational effectiveness, and maintaining compliance with employment laws and internal policies. This position requires excelent communication skills, independent judgment, and the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels of the organization.

What You’ll Do:

- Partner with Shared Services and operational leadership to manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Manage the full-cycle onboarding process of new employees.
- Manage benefits administration with accuracy and adherence to timelines and partner with payroll to ensure benefits are accurately reflected in pay systems.
- Run or assist with the regular payroll process.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and manage HR documentation.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and support employees throughout their journey with us.
- Oversee the performance review process to ensure consistency, timeliness, and alignment with organizational goals. HR metrics, employee records, and performance tracking systems.

Work Schedule:

- The expected full-time work schedule will be 40 hours spread between Monday through Friday
- The minimum expected office hours are 12:00pm to 8:00pm Easter - Standard Time. Deviation from this requires notice given to the supervisor.
- This position is 100% remote
- The work schedule may be modified occasionally to accommodate the needs of the business. Additionally, time will be required outside of these hours for events, meetings and training.

Desired Education/Work Experience:

- Undergraduate degree strongly preferred.
- 5+ Years of relevant Human Resources experience
- U.S. HR experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting remote and distributed teams.
