We’re looking for a Property Accounting Manager who can combine strong technical expertise with operational leadership to drive financial performance across a diverse portfolio of hospitality properties.
In this role, you’ll play a critical part in providing financial visibility to executive leadership, ensuring accurate reporting, strengthening internal controls, and building scalable accounting processes that support growth. What You’ll Do
Financial Leadership & Reporting
Oversee a portfolio of properties and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.
Ensure owners, investors, and stakeholders receive high-quality financial information and support.
Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry accounting standards.
Safeguard company assets through strong internal controls and financial oversight.
Process Improvement & Systems Optimization
Continuously evaluate accounting processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
Implement and enhance accounting controls, procedures, and best practices.
Support accounting system upgrades, technology implementations, and process automation initiatives.
Identify opportunities to strengthen financial operations and support organizational growth.
Team Leadership
Lead, develop, and mentor accounting professionals through effective coaching and performance management.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure tea
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Master’s degree and/or CPA designation preferred.
6–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably within hospitality.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI).
Experience managing and developing accounting teams.
Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with hospitality business intelligence platforms such as ProfitSword or similar tools.
Experience with Sage Intacct, BlackLine, or comparable accounting software.
Remote Work Requirements
This is a fully remote position supporting a U.S.-based operation. Candidates must be available to work U.S. business hours and maintain a schedule aligned with the assigned U.S. time zone.
Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps to support video conferencing, cloud-based systems, and daily collaboration.
Must maintain a dedicated, professional home office or workspace that is quiet, secure, and free from distractions during working hours.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while remaining highly responsive and collaborative with cross-functional teams.
