Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Google Business Profile Manager & SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Google Business Profiles (formerly Google My Business) ensuring their local search visibility is maximized. Your expertise will be critical in developing and implementing local SEO strategies that drive traffic and improve rankings across search engines. You will also perform regular audits, monitor key performance indicators, and analyze competitor data to identify opportunities for growth. As an SEO specialist, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing on-page SEO, conducting keyword research, and crafting content strategies to ensure our clients’ digital presence is competitive and high-performing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Google Business Profile Management: Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GMB) ensuring profiles are complete, accurate, and aligned with business goals.
* Local SEO Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to improve local SEO, ensuring high visibility in local search results, Google Maps, and local pack rankings.
* Keyword Research & On-Page SEO: Conduct keyword research to inform on-page SEO strategies. Optimize websites for search engines by improving content, meta tags, images, and internal linking structures.
* SEO Audits & Reporting: Perform regular SEO audits and identify areas for improvement in both Google Business Profiles and websites. Provide detailed, actionable reports on SEO performance.
* Reputation Management: Monitor and respond to customer reviews across Google Business Profile and other platforms to enhance client reputation.
* Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to ensure websites have optimized content that is aligned with SEO best practices.
* Google Analytics & Search Console: Monitor performance metrics through Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools. Generate reports to show traffic, rankings, and opportunities for growth.
* Competitor Analysis: Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities and ensure Mesa stays ahead of competitors in local search rankings.
* Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure digital presence remains competitive.
Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in SEO, with a focus on local SEO and Google Business Profile management.
* Google Business Profile Expertise: Proven experience optimizing Google Business Profiles, including managing listings, posts, reviews, and insights.
* Technical SEO: Strong understanding of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Moz, and SEMrush. Ability to diagnose technical SEO issues and implement solutions.
* On-Page SEO Skills: In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO techniques including keyword research, content optimization, and meta tag creation.
* Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction, report generation, and internal collaboration.
* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement strategies that boost SEO performance.
* Adaptability: Ability to stay up-to-date with changes in the SEO landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
