About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented Podcast Video Editor to join our team.
Your primary responsibility will be editing long-form podcast episodes and creating short-form content from those episodes for social media distribution.
We are not looking for highly animated edits or heavy motion graphics. Our editing style is clean, professional, and conversation-focused. The priority is delivering polished podcast episodes and engaging short-form clips efficiently and on time.
Responsibilities
Long-Form Podcast Editing
- Edit long-form podcast episodes using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Remove filler words, stutters, repeated phrases, awkward pauses, and unnecessary tangents
- Improve pacing and flow while maintaining natural conversation
- Sync audio and video accurately
- Clean and enhance audio quality
- Reduce or remove background noise when necessary
- Add captions/subtitles to the full podcast episode
- Create a podcast trailer/highlight reel from the episode using an AI-generated trailer prompt provided by our team
- Select and compile the relevant podcast
- Organize project files and maintain a clean editing workflow
- Export files according to our delivery specifications
Short-Form Content Editing
- Review podcast episodes and identify engaging
- Create short-form clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts,
- Select compelling hooks, stories, insights, and soundbites
- Add clean, professional captions/subtitles to all short-form clips
- Improve pacing and retention through strategic cuts and framing
- Export clips in platform-ready formats
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Experience editing podcasts, interviews, or talking-head content
- Experience creating short-form content from long-form podcasts
- Strong understanding of pacing, retention, and content flow
- Ability to identify engaging
- Understanding of audio cleanup and noise reduction
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly responsive during working hours
- Able to consistently meet deadlines and turnaround times
Work Schedule
- Preferred availability: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Schedule can be flexible as long as deadlines are consistently met
- Must be responsive to messages and project updates during the workday
Important Note:
We are NOT looking for:
- Heavy motion graphics editors
- VFX specialists
- Highly animated editing styles
Simple zooms, reframing, and basic visual enhancements are welcome, but advanced motion graphics are not required.

Expected Deliverables Per Episode
- 1 edited long-form podcast episode with captions
- 1 podcast trailer/highlight reel (AI prompt provided)
- 4-8 short-form clips with captions

Budget
Long-Form Podcast Edit: Php 3,000 to Php 3,500 per episode
Short-Form Clips: Php 500 to Php 800 per edit
Please include your expected rate in your application and whether it falls within this budget range.
