ScaffCover is an Australian company making premium engineered scaffold containment and protection systems for the construction industry. Our brand sits at the high end of the market — clean, architectural, technical — and our marketing materials need to reflect that.

The Role (Please Read Carefully)
We use AI tools to generate brochure layouts we like — the typography, spacing, composition, and styling. The problem is that AI mangles our real product photos and designs when we try to drop them in.
Your job is to rebuild those AI-generated layouts inside a professional design program, pixel-faithful to the AI version, but with our real images, logos, and copy swapped in cleanly.
This is a reconstruction and asset-replacement role. It is not a redesign role.
We want someone who can look at an AI layout and say "I can match that exactly in my design software so it's editable and print-ready" — not someone who wants to reinterpret it, improve it, or put their own spin on it. We hired someone last round who took creative liberties and the result was unusable. Please only apply if you are genuinely happy executing to a brief without changing it.

An editable source file in your chosen design program, matching the AI layout

First Project
A premium 20-page company brochure — mix of single pages, double-page spreads, technical/product pages, and editorial-style layouts.

Required Skills

Strong skills in a professional design program — Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Affinity Publisher/Designer, or similar layout software (whichever you use, the file needs to be fully editable and print-ready)
Editorial / brochure layout experience
Typography hierarchy and spacing
Print preparation and file organisation
Ability to match a reference layout precisely

Bonus (not required)

Construction, industrial, architectural, or engineering brand work
Experience working from AI-generated mockups


Test Task (Unpaid)
Shortlisted applicants will be sent a focused test task. We'll provide:

The AI-generated layout (one page — the middle page of the brochure)
The hero image to be placed on that page
Our brand board
The exact text/copy as shown in the AI layout

Your task is to recreate that page exactly as the AI has laid it out — same fonts, same spacing, same composition, same hierarchy — using the real image and copy we provide, inside your chosen design program. Return the editable source file plus a PDF.
We are specifically evaluating:

Layout accuracy vs the AI reference
Typography fidelity (font choices, sizing, spacing)
Correct use of our brand assets
Ability to follow direction exactly without reinterpreting
File organisation and professionalism

The task is unpaid. We receive a high volume of applications and the test is how we determine fit. Please only apply if you're comfortable with that.

Long-Term Opportunity
If the first brochure goes well, ongoing work includes product sheets, technical documents, advertisements, signage, exhibition graphics, presentation decks, and social media assets.
