Are you a skilled grant writer passionate about the arts and music? Alberto Puerto Music and GG Art Space are seeking an experienced Grant Writer to help secure funding opportunities that align with our mission of offering top-quality, hyper-personalized music education, bridging disciplines and cultures, and curating transformative artistic experiences.
Position Overview:
As a Grant Writer, you will research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals on behalf of our organization. This is a contract-based position, with compensation based on industry-standard rates per completed and submitted proposal.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and research grant opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and private donors that align with our mission.
Develop strong, persuasive grant proposals tailored to each funding opportunity.
Work closely with our team to gather necessary data, program details, and supporting documents.
Ensure proposals are compliant with grant guidelines, deadlines, and submission requirements.
Maintain a tracking system for applications, deadlines, and funding outcomes.
Assist with grant reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience writing successful grant proposals in the arts, education, or nonprofit sector.
Strong research, writing, and editing skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to synthesize complex information into compelling narratives.
Knowledge of grant funding sources, application processes, and best practices.
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with arts funding agencies, cultural grants, and music education funding is a plus.
Compensation:
Market-based per-proposal reimbursement. Payment terms will be discussed based on proposal complexity and funding source.
