JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Google Ads Manager to take full ownership of our paid search strategy at Pepperplane UX — from research and campaign setup to optimisation, reporting, and insights. You’ll work closely with the CEO and Marketing team to drive qualified leads from software development agencies, tech founders, and B2B SaaS companies looking for UX/UI design partners.

This is not an execution-only role. We’re looking for someone who thinks strategically, brings recommendations, and is proactive in refining audience, messaging, funnel performance, and overall ROI.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Setup

Build and refine keyword strategies aligned to Pepperplane’s ICP (software dev agencies, SaaS founders, VC portfolio companies, etc.)

Conduct competitive and industry research to position Pepperplane effectively

Create campaigns, ad groups, and high-intent landing page recommendations

Management & Optimisation

Run ongoing A/B tests (copy, bidding strategies, audiences, landing pages)

Monitor CTR, CPC, conversion rate, and lead quality — optimise weekly

Ensure tracking and attribution are set up accurately (GA4, conversions, UTM)

Scale spend responsibly based on ROI and pipeline demand

Reporting & Insights

Provide weekly highlights + monthly performance reports

Translate data into recommendations, not just numbers

Suggest funnel improvements (ad messaging ? form ? lead nurture)

Ideal Candidate

You’re a great fit if you:
? Have proven B2B Google Ads experience (preferably for service-based or agency businesses)
? Have worked with ad budgets between $2k–$10k/month and can scale efficiently
? Understand lead quality over vanity metrics — we care more about booked calls than clicks
? Are comfortable owning strategy AND execution, not waiting for instructions
? Understand how to write ads that speak to pain points, not features
? Bonus: Experience with LinkedIn Ads or retargeting campaigns
? Bonus: Experience working with creative/tech agencies or SaaS companies

Engagement Details
