GoHighLevel Technical Architect / Automation Specialist (Senior / Expert Level)

About the Company
We are a fast-growing UK financial services group with the ambition to scale into one of the leading financial services companies in the UK.

To support this growth, we are building enterprise-grade systems using Go High Level and are seeking a high-level, world-class Go High Level Technical Architect to take ownership of platform architecture, automation, and integrations.

This is not a junior role and not suitable for candidates still learning the platform.



Role Overview
We are looking for a senior-level Go High Level expert with deep technical knowledge of the platform. You will be responsible for designing, building, maintaining, and scaling complex systems within Go High Level that support lead management, CRM, automation, client onboarding, and internal operations in a financial services environment.

You will act as the technical authority for Go High Level within the business.



Key Responsibilities
Go High Level Platform Architecture
- Design and build scalable, enterprise-grade Go High Level environments
- Structure sub-accounts, snapshots, permissions, and user roles
- Ensure systems are clean, logical, secure, and built to scale with business growth


Advanced Workflows & Automation
-Build complex, multi-step workflows using conditional logic (if/else branches)
-Implement behaviour-based triggers, delays, webhooks, and fail-safes
-Troubleshoot and resolve workflow conflicts, errors, and edge cases
-Optimise automations for reliability, speed, and accuracy


Conditional Logic Forms & Data Capture
Build advanced conditional logic forms for:
-Client onboarding
-Fact finds
-Lead qualification
-Broker and introducer journeys
Ensure accurate mapping of form data into CRM fields, pipelines, tags, and workflows



Web Portals
-Build and manage secure web portals within Go High Level for:
-Clients
-Brokers / introducers
-Internal teams
-Implement role-based access and appropriate data visibility
-Deliver professional, user-friendly experiences suitable for financial services




Integrations & Open Banking
-Integrate Go High Level with third-party platforms including:
-Open Banking APIs
-Zapier and Make
-Webhooks and custom API connections
-Calendars, email, SMS, WhatsApp
-Stripe and other payment systems where appropriate
-Manage secure data flows between systems
-Diagnose and resolve integration and syncing issues


CRM, Pipelines & Data Architecture
-Design advanced CRM structures, pipelines, and opportunity stages
-Implement intelligent tagging and custom field strategies
-Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and compliance-aware data handling



Technical Strategy & Ownership
-Act as the internal Go High Level technical lead
-Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
-Advise on best-practice architecture and long-term system design
-Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities



Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable)
-Advanced, hands-on Go High Level experience
-Proven experience building complex workflows and automations
-Strong experience creating conditional logic forms
-Experience building client or partner web portals
-Experience working with or integrating Open Banking APIs
-Strong understanding of CRM logic and data structures
-Confident working with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
-Excellent attention to detail and ability to document builds clearly
-Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills




Nice to Have
Experience supporting UK financial services or regulated businesses
Snapshot creation for scalable deployment
Experience working with multi-branch or multi-user businesses
HTML and CSS customisation within Go High Level
Understanding of compliance-aware system design



This Role Is Not
A junior or entry-level Go High Level role
A funnel-only position
Suitable for candidates learning Go High Level
A one-off setup role with no ongoing responsibility
