Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / AI Search SEO Specialist + WordPress & Shopify Content Coordinator

We are hiring a skilled **GEO / AI Search SEO Specialist** to help optimize our websites so they are better understood, indexed, cited, and recommended by search engines and AI-powered answer platforms.

Our brands operate in the professional medical aesthetics and advanced technology space, including lasers, body contouring devices, wellness technology, and professional clinical equipment. We provide the written content, but we need someone who can properly structure, publish, optimize, and format that content for both traditional SEO and AI search visibility.

This role requires experience with **WordPress, RankMath, Shopify SEO, structured content, schema markup, entity-based SEO, and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).**

The ideal candidate understands that modern SEO is no longer only about keywords. Our websites need to be structured in a way that makes it easy for Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI-driven platforms to understand who we are, what we sell, what problems we solve, and why our company should be recommended as a trusted source.

Primary Responsibilities

Generative Engine Optimization / AI Search Optimization

* Structure website content so it is clear, authoritative, and easy for AI search engines to understand
* Optimize pages for AI-generated answers, Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other answer engines
* Improve entity-based SEO so our brands, products, services, and categories are clearly connected
* Create and optimize FAQ sections, comparison sections, product summaries, and question-based content
* Ensure content answers real buyer questions in a structured, easy-to-reference format
* Add or improve schema markup, including Organization, Product, FAQ, Article, MedicalBusiness, and other relevant schema types
* Improve internal linking so AI and search engines understand relationships between products, categories, blog posts, and service pages
* Help structure content so our websites can become trusted sources for industry-specific answers
* Recommend content improvements that increase the likelihood of being cited, summarized, or recommended by AI tools

WordPress / RankMath

* Upload and professionally format blog posts and website pages
* Optimize posts using RankMath, including meta titles, descriptions, focus keywords, schema, and internal linking
* Structure content properly using H1, H2, and H3 hierarchy
* Format pages for readability, authority, and conversion
* Add optimized alt tags and compress images
* Ensure posts are indexed correctly through Google Search Console
* Maintain consistent branding and clean layout across multiple websites
* Improve technical SEO basics, including crawlability, indexing, redirects, and sitemap health

Shopify SEO

* Optimize Shopify product pages for traditional SEO and AI search visibility
* Improve product titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags, product descriptions, and collection content
* Optimize collections and product metadata
* Improve internal linking between products, collections, blogs, and informational pages
* Ensure correct indexing and sitemap health
* Identify technical SEO issues that may affect ranking or AI visibility
* Structure product pages so they clearly explain features, benefits, applications, specifications, and buyer questions

### Social Media Content Support

* Schedule and publish social media posts
* Repurpose blog and website content into social media snippets
* Maintain consistent branding across platforms
* Conduct basic hashtag and topic research
* Organize a simple content calendar
* Coordinate content publishing across websites and social platforms

Additional Preferred Skills

* Experience with Google Search Console
* Experience with GA4 or basic traffic reporting
* Experience with schema markup and structured data
* Experience with AI search optimization, answer engine optimization, or GEO
* Experience optimizing content for Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, or similar platforms
* Basic SEO reporting, including traffic, indexing, and keyword movement
* Conversion optimization suggestions
* Email formatting in Klaviyo or similar platforms
* Basic Canva design adjustments
* Familiarity with medical aesthetics, med spa, wellness, skincare, medical devices, or professional equipment is a strong advantage

Requirements

* Strong WordPress experience is mandatory
* Proven experience using RankMath
* Demonstrated Shopify SEO experience
* Strong understanding of on-page SEO, metadata, indexing, internal linking, and schema
* Understanding of GEO, AEO, or AI search optimization
* Ability to structure content for both human readers and AI-powered search engines
* Strong English comprehension
* Excellent attention to detail
* Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
* Comfortable managing multiple brands and websites

We need someone who understands how to structure websites strategically so that search engines and AI platforms can clearly understand the company, products, services, expertise, and authority behind the content.

The goal is to improve visibility in both traditional Google search and AI-powered recommendations.
